HERS Certified Home Energy Rater Services
Certified RESNET Home Energy Raters conduct inspections to verify a home’s energy performance and determine what improvements can be made to increase it.
As a HERS rater, we look at the home's insulation, inspect HVAC ductwork for leakage, test the home's overall air leakage, combustion leakage on gas appliances, rate home appliances, HVAC system and lighting for their energy rating.
Blower Door Testing and HVAC Duct Leakage Testing
A blower door test measures air leakage in your home, helping you improve energy efficiency, comfort, and qualify for rebates with optimal scores. Monroe County building department requires a Blower Door Test as one of the required inspections when building a new home.
